Collection History
The Cape to Canyon Collection offers discerning travellers the opportunity to experience two incredibly special parts of South Africa – the Blyde River Canyon and surrounding Panorama Route (Limpopo/Mpumalanga) and Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands.
We are passionate about providing guests with a relaxing and comfortable stay, whether they are on holiday or travelling for business purposes, our diverse range of available accommodation includes authentic bushveld lodges, luxury guest houses, self-catering family accommodation and a boutique hotel.
With a passion for adventure and experience in the tourism industry, the Mittan family emigrated from Australia 20 years ago with the dream of creating a luxurious African accommodation portfolio. Serendipity played a hand in the building up a collection of enviable properties in both the Drakensberg Valley of the Olifants in Limpopo/Mpumalanga and the Drakenstein mountains in the Olifants Valley of Franschhoek. Today, the Cape to Canyon Collection comprises three luxurious African bushveld properties in Limpopo/Mpumalanga and two sophisticated French-appointed offerings in the heart of Franschhoek.
